Watch the Skies – Model Plane Festival in Granadilla

What is it about this weekend? Everything seems to be on a smaller scale? First it was mini trees, now it’s small planes. In this case it isn’t news of another airline cutting back because of the dreaded ‘R’ word, it’s simply the Festival de Loreta in the hills around Granadilla.

Over the weekend, Granadilla’s skies will be buzzing with the sound of diminutive magnificent mini men and their flying machines. It’s going to be a small plane spotters’ paradise.
