Tunnel Vision

Let the cheering begin, the brand spanking new tunnel at El Guincho near Garachico was finally opened this week at a cost of 40 million euros.

It’s very nice and compliments the ‘Austin Powers’ tunnel just further along the road nicely. However I don’t know, it might have been me, but as I drove through it on Monday, it seemed to take longer than the old route through little El Guincho. Still, I’m sure it’ll cut down on the congestion on that road…wait a minute, there wasn’t any congestion!
