Fancy a knees up Tinerfeño style? The old southern town of Arona plays host to the 2nd Verodal folklore festival. Groups from La Orotava, La Palma and Arona are putting on a show of the type of singing and dancing enjoyed in traditional towns across the Canary Islands during fiestas. Very different from the bright lights and tribute acts in the municipality’s tourist mecca of Playa de las Américas on the coast.Place: Plaza de Iglesia, Arona
