The Tegueste Ayuntamiento have come up with a particularly sadistic way of clearing the fuzziness after quaffing too many ‘vasos’ of new vino de país during the San Andrés celebrations on the 29th November – the 1st carrera popular entre viñedos.
The nine kilometre run on the 30th November starts from the Plaza de San Marcos in Tegueste at 11.00. If you’re fit, or just a masochistic, this might be the ideal way to celebrate Saint Andrews day, personally I’d rather stay in my bed.
